Job summary

T-Rex Solutions is seeking a fully cleared Linux Administrator 2 to support a program in the Fort Meade, MD area. You will join a Linux team designing, implementing, and troubleshooting in a hybrid cloud setting across multiple networks and architectures.

The role requires 10+ years as a systems administrator, a DoD 8570.01-M II certification, and a TS/SCI clearance. A technical Bachelor's degree is required, with extensive government contract experience.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Job description

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared Linux Administrator 2 to work on a program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Work in an environment where you can help design the architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA)
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance is required.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
