Job summary

Pharmatek Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Linux system administrator to lead on-site operations in Woodlawn, MD. The role includes deploying RHEL patches, platform updates, and documenting configurations.

You will collaborate with applications teams as the platform technical lead, guiding deployments and troubleshooting across complex systems. Required: 7+ years in RHEL admin, Bachelor's degree or 11+ years in lieu, ability to obtain Public Trust. Federal government experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field or 11+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years of experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x Platform Administration (administration, installation, configuration, optimization, backup & recovery)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with the US Federal Government
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.

• 5+ years of experience working with Ansible Playbooks.
