Job summary

Unisity, LLC is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL 9) consulting engagement onsite in Jessup, Maryland. The engagement is 608 hours annually, with delivery of implementations based on architectural designs and leadership of technical activities in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required qualifications include an Associate or higher degree, IAT Level II certification, and at least 3 years of cloud platform consulting leadership plus strong communication

Qualifications

• IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security or equivalent).
• 3+ years leading modern cloud platform consulting engagements.
• Experience delivering implementations from architectural designs and coordinating timelines and documentation.

Description:

Unisity is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL 9) consulting engagement onsite in Jessup, Maryland. This engagement is expected to total 608 hours and is renewed annually. The consultant will deliver implementations based on architectural designs, lead technical project activities, and work closely with stakeholders to establish scope, timelines, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or higher in computer science or a technical discipline.
• IAT Level II certification (examples listed in source: Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security).
• Experience delivering an implementation based on an architectural design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, coordinate project timelines, and maintain project and technical documentation.
• Ability to identify stakeholder needs, establish expectations about timelines and scope, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• At least 3 years of experience leading successful modern cloud platform consulting engagements.
• Demonstrated strategic advisory experience with senior IT and business executives, including presentations to C-level executives at large firms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Required Technical Skills:

Experience with at least two of the following:

• Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later.
• Using Red Hat Satellite to deploy and manage RHEL systems.
• Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

Desired Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with VMware and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position appropriate security clearance is required, you must have an Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph.

Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
