Summary: Analytical Data Linguist needed! Applicants should have data analysis, Python, and SQL backgrounds. You will be evaluating and reporting on human annotations on large scale linguistic and multimodal data informing product performance. The Linguists hired in this role will be performing deep dive analyses and annotations to ensure Meta voice product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments evaluating end-to-end quality.
• Develop manual and automated processes for multiple concurrent projects including ensuring high-quality label alignments, annotation fidelity, and guideline adherence.
• Create and perfect human and automated annotation solutions for text, audio, image, and video data.
• Use LLMs in ad-hoc automated reporting.

Qualifications

• Must-Have Skills: Python, SQL, LLMs; knowledge of human annotation workflows including annotation metrics and applied statistical methods; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, language technologies, computational linguistics, speech science, statistics, computer science, or related field.
• Nice-to-have Skills: Data science background; academic linguistics background preferred; Masters or PhD preferred.
• Years of experience: 1-3 years linguistic experience post bachelor’s degree; master's/PhD programs may be considered as experience.
