Job summary

PRI Global seeks a Linguist III to develop language components for voice-enabled technologies. You will analyze linguistic data, curate datasets for ML models, and support LLM-driven data synthesis and prompt engineering.

You will create guidelines for high-quality language-data labeling, work with speech and text data, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or related field.
• 4–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with SQL/database queries, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
• Experience with regular expression (regex) encoding.
• Knowledge of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, and related areas.
• Experience working with speech and text data.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and their applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with machine learning frameworks, NLP libraries, and tools.
• 2–3 years of experience specifically in a Linguist role.
• Experience with conversational assistants, ML support, and LLM projects.
