Job summary

Goldbelt Heritage Foundation (GHF) in Alaska is seeking a Lingít Language Program Intern—a paid, part-time internship for students interested in Indigenous language revitalization, education, linguistics, or Alaska Native Studies. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Experience with Lingít language encouraged.
• Able to commit to scheduled hours and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Language Program Support: assist Lingít classes, workshops and immersion activities.
• Language & Community Engagement: support intergenerational learning and community events, engage with Lingít knowledge.
• Administrative & Project Support: scheduling, recordkeeping, and data for program tracking.
• Learning Objectives & Professional Development: gain experience in Indigenous language revitalization and nonprofit skills.
• Community & Cultural Integration: collaborate with Elders, educators, language experts, learners and supporters.
