Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Lineworker I-SR to perform a full range of linework duties at a Louisiana site. The role includes skilled tasks from I to Sr levels, and strong safety practices are essential.

You will maintain and build overhead/underground facilities, lead crews as needed, and coordinate material and safety procedures on site. A valid driver’s license and Class-A CDL (or ability to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 4 years of distribution field experience.
• Preferred: 2 years direct distribution linework experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and Class-A CDL or ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPE use and care and operate equipment safely.
• Perform energized work on secondary and primary lines as qualified.
• Set up, rig, and operate aerial baskets and digger derrick trucks.
• Lead and assist other linemen and manage material during jobsite work.
• Learn and perform high-voltage switching tasks up to 34,500 volts.
