Entergy Louisiana, LLC is hiring for a Lineworker I–Sr position in Louisiana. The role covers overhead and underground line construction, maintenance, and leadership of other lineworkers. Expect to perform both routine tasks and advanced switching under a Live Safe mindset.

This position may be filled as a Lineworker (Mechanic) I, II, III, or Sr based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
The ability to perform all aspects of the Lineworker job function including but not limited to the day-to-day aspects of maintaining and building overhead and underground electrical facilities. Responsible various levels of learning, performing, and/or leading other lineworkers, material maintenance as well as, up to and including, aerial and underground work including utility distribution construction tasks. Working with a Live Safe mindset in all tasks; ensuring to mitigate hazards where identified.
Lineworker Mech, I - 6 months to 1 year of field distribution experience is required
Lineworker Mech, II - 1.5 years to 2 year of field distribution experience is required
Lineworker Mech, III - 2.5 years to 3 years of field distribution experience is required
Lineworker Mech, Sr - 3.5 years to 4 years of field distribution experience is required
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.

In addition to EEI testing there is also Fit-for-Duty testing which will identify and assess the abilities and skills needed for certain jobs. If this position does require Fit-for-Duty testing, the type of test will be located under the qualifications section of the job posting.
