Position – Union: Line Worker Apprentice (3/C, 2/C OR 1/C T&D acceptable)

Number of Open Positions: 1

Location: ME - Brunswick - Service Bldg

Hourly Rate Range: $22.55 - $48.24

Essential Functions of Classification:

• Safely perform all types of transmission and distribution pole line work, including climbing poles, installing or maintaining crossarms, pins, insulators, wires, cables, transformers, cutouts, lightning arrestors, and related equipment.
• Work on energized lines and equipment following Company’s Distribution and/or Transmission Standards and Safety Regulations.
• Take responsibility for emergency duty with minimal supervision and direct activities of lower-rated workers.
• Share standby responsibilities within the area.
• Prepare and maintain necessary records and perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements of Applicant:

• Must possess a Class II driver's license with a good safety record.
• Subject to the Company’s random drug and alcohol testing policy.
• Must reside within an acceptable distance from headquarters and be available for emergency assignments.
• Capable of performing essential functions of the role.
