Job summary

Unitil is seeking fully qualified Lineworkers to join Electric Operations in Massachusetts. The role covers transmission and overhead distribution linework, including substation activities, with de-energized work on high voltage lines up to approximately 15kV.

Overtime and DOT drug testing requirements apply. Candidates must reside within the specified geographic area, hold a valid CDL, and be prepared for field paperwork, safety training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Massachusetts 1B/2A Hoisting Engineers License required.
• CDL and Driver Qualification File credentials are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of transmission and overhead distribution linework, including substation construction and maintenance.
• Investigate electric service trouble calls and perform necessary repairs to restore service.
• Assist in underground construction and maintenance of high voltage lines up to 15kV when de-energized.
