$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION – Linen Technician

The primary purpose of the Linen Distribution Technician position is to ensure daily responsibilities are completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work the assigned schedule without delay, tardiness, or absenteeism.
• Complete assigned duties including delivering clean linen, collecting and transporting soiled linen, recording inventories, and organizing linen storage areas according to policies and procedures.
• Handle customer calls for service, record details, and fulfill requests professionally and promptly.
• Observe, record, and report linen abuse and poor utilization to the LDM.
• Manage linen inventory levels and replenish carts to prescribed levels, transporting them safely.
• Record data using appropriate methods (e.g., tablets, sheets).
• Collect soiled linen and transport to storage.
• Maintain the linen room in a neat, organized manner.

Other Functions And Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work with both clean and soiled linen per policies and procedures.

• Walk 3-5 miles daily.
• Lift up to 10 pounds, push/pull carts up to 70 pounds.
• Handle soiled textiles safely.
• Fulfill shift duties as needed.
