Job summary

LK Managed Services in the United States hospital network is seeking a full-time Linen Associate to fill and move carts, stock linen, and deliver service throughout the facility. The role requires adherence to quality and safety standards and supports patient care through timely linen supply.

The position is on-site with a 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM schedule, including rotating weekends. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Push/pull linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to build and stock linen carts.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to perform simple mathematics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Dependable transportation and ability to report to work as scheduled.
• Ability to communicate professionally and provide customer-facing service.

This is a full-time, onsite, customer-facing position inside a hospital. Applicants must be able to reliably work the 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM schedule, including rotating weekends and days off.

Employment is contingent upon completion of all required pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screening, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

PURPOSE:

To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas throughout the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while meeting established quality and safety standards.

• Ability to push and pull wheeled clean and soiled linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to build and stock linen carts
• Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to accurately perform simple mathematics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Dependable transportation and ability to report to work as scheduled
• Ability to communicate professionally and provide customer-facing service
