Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Linen Technician responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of linen within a healthcare setting. You will support a team, ensure accurate data recording, and maintain cleanliness of storage and transport areas.

This role requires good communication, physical stamina (lifting up to 70 pounds, walking up to 5 miles daily), and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in linen storage and transport areas.
• Transport linen carts safely within designated areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, handling both clean and soiled linen.

Key Duties

• Deliver clean linen and collect soiled linen, maintaining organized storage areas according to policies.
• Manage linen inventories, including building cart supplies to prescribed levels and recording data accurately.
• Respond to customer service calls professionally, recording requests and ensuring satisfaction.
• Observe, report, and address linen misuse or abuse.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in linen storage and transport areas.
• Transport linen carts safely and efficiently within designated areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, working with both clean and soiled linen.
