Primary Role

Linen Technician responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely distribution and management of linen within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect clean and soiled linen, accurately record inventories, organize storage areas, manage linen levels, and build back carts to prescribed levels.
• Respond to service calls professionally, report linen abuse, and maintain a tidy linen room.
• Follow policies and procedures provided by the Linen Distribution Manager (LDM).

Decision-Making

Determine quantities and schedules for linen delivery based on operational needs.

Requirements

Work Environment

Active, physically demanding with tasks including lifting up to 10 pounds, pushing carts weighing up to 70 pounds, and walking multiple miles daily. Flexibility to perform additional shift duties if needed.
