Job summary

Responsibilities include sorting soiled linen, operating cart washers and irons, ensuring labels on carts, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while collaborating with team members and supervisors. PPE may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high production laundry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts.
• Operates flatwork ironer, small piece folders; folds linen to standards.
• Responsible for quality control; ensures linens meet client standards.
• Identify and label linen distribution carts before transport.
• Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist truck driver with loading linen/materials.
• Inform lead/supervisor on par level or supply quantities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
