Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry.
• Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives.
• Ability to work in a team environment and alone.
• Good communications, both orally and written in English.
• Must have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality inspection to ensure that linen meets the customer's quality specifications
• Places clean and inspected linen into designated cart/bin
• Places linen that has been rejected due to quality or linen that has damage in the appropriate bag to return to the hotel
• Fills out label detailing product content of bin by hotel, linen specification, and confirmation of quality inspection
• Notifies the supervisor of any issues with the quality of the linen to ensure proper handling
• Other duties assigned by management.
