Job summary

Mission Linen Supply in California is seeking Production Staff to support the industrial laundry production flow under supervision, operating press equipment and processing linen.

Starting pay is $18.66 per hour, with full benefits: health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Applicants must be able to stand long hours and lift up to 100 pounds; prior plant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with plant equipment/machinery is highly desired.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment.
• Process laundry in plant established lot order.
• Maintain production floor distribution.
• Shake, sort by route and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing.
• Classify and lay out items for pressing (e.g., industrial shirt vs. executive dress shirts).
• Separate soil pick-up tickets.
• Check for needed repairs on items.
• Lift garments/linen onto line storage system.
• Trolley garments/linen for truck pick-up.
• Load trollies into trailers.
• Ensure colleagues follow safety procedures at all times.
• Additional duties as assigned.
