Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and complete department logs and reports.
• General knowledge of commercial laundry washers and dryers, with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supply washers and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Load and unload tumblers.
• Monitor quantity of chemicals in containers and replace as needed.
• Send linens through Flatwork Ironers and Small Piece folders as needed.
• Record poundage washed daily.
• Organize the Laundry soiled area.
• Communicate safety and inventory concerns to Floor Manager.
• Coordinate with trucking representatives for chemical deliveries.
