Job summary

Seabrook Island Club is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member focused on linen laundry operations. Primary duties include pressing, folding, and storing linens for all club facilities, with emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the laundry area.

The role requires the ability to handle 50 lbs, operate commercial laundry equipment, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. High School diploma preferred; reliability and hard work are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma preferred.
• Experience: Reliability and willingness to work hard physically.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and promote Seabrook Core Values and service standards.
• Keep the laundry area clean, including break room and restrooms.
• Fill in for laundry machine operator when needed.
• Sort and weigh laundry and load/unload commercial machines.
• Fold 500–1,000 pieces of linen per day and operate the pressing machine.
• Fold and store linens neatly; handle damaged linens per training.
• Follow directions from the Director of Engineering and adhere to safety regulations.
