Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, ensure sanitary conditions, and deliver courteous service to residents and staff.

Starting pay is USD 15.00 per hour. This on-site role includes benefits and opportunities for hands-on training and career development.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
