Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain cleanliness and availability of linens in a long-term care facility. You will manage washing, drying, folding, and distribution of textiles while ensuring safety and infection control.

The role emphasizes positive resident interaction and teamwork with staff. The pay starts at USD $16.00 per hour with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies may be required.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Must follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies for a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
