Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. seeks a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and clothing for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and work with staff to ensure timely availability.

This role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, good communication, and adherence to infection control policies. Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required; on-site role with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
