Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team, delivering warm and friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. Experience is not required but preferred, and you will be supported in personal growth within a caring environment.

You will operate laundry equipment, manage linen inventory, and ensure clean, well-maintained laundry areas. We encourage responsibility, teamwork, and excellent customer service in a respectful setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning agents, liquids, disinfectants, etc.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first, ensuring high-quality service in a caring atmosphere.
