Job summary

The Nautical in Lake Havasu City, AZ is seeking a seasonal Laundry Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation of linens, uniforms, and fabric items. You will operate washing and drying machines, sort laundry by color and fabric, and handle delicate items with care.

Candidates should read and follow instructions, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a safe, organized laundry area. Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and washing requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor for further action.
• Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry for distribution or storage, maintaining neatness and order.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including routine cleaning of machines and workspaces.
• Track laundry inventory and notify management when supplies such as detergents or fabric softeners need replenishment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
