Job summary

Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is hiring a Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping by preparing and maintaining guest linens and assisting the team to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

The ideal candidate has housekeeping experience, a neat personality, strong time management, and physical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to move and operate cleaning equipment and reach corners
• Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish resort/hotel cleanliness goals
• Laundry duties as required (washing, drying, ironing, folding) for guest linens and restaurant/catering linens
• Keep laundry area and common areas clean and organized
• Daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms
• Understand proper utilization of equipment and chemicals and safety procedures
• Assist houseman and housekeepers as necessary
• Help maintain a safe work environment
• Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to other team members
