Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to keep linens and garments clean and readily available for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, follow infection control policies, and provide friendly service to residents and staff.

We value a positive attitude, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reliable daily task execution. Prior laundry experience is helpful but not required; residency within the service area is required where

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prev laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
