Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our hotel operations in Saint Augustine, FL. You will process linens, manage supplies, and assist housekeeping while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

The role includes handling laundry tasks, following sanitation procedures, and using hotel systems to track inventory and fulfill guest needs. On-site work with potential shift variability, weekends, and holidays. Hotel discounts offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Dependable, trustworthy, organized, and guest-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn hotel technology and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort soiled linens and towels according to established procedures.
• Wash, dry, fold, organize, and stock linens and towels.
• Treat stains when appropriate and maintain records of stained, damaged, or discarded items.
• Notify a supervisor when linens cannot be restored and should be removed from inventory.
• Operate washers, dryers, and related equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Clean lint traps and equipment surfaces and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain laundry production, inventory, and supply records as required.
• Keep laundry areas, shelves, equipment, and storage rooms clean and organized.
• Follow established procedures for sanitation, chemical handling, safety, security, and emergency response.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest or departmental requests.
• Use required hotel systems and communication tools, such as Quore or Hotel Effectiveness.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain a professional appearance consistent with uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other related duties within the associate’s training and capabilities.
