Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for a long-term care facility. You will collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while ensuring safety and standards are met.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work around cleaning products. Prior laundry experience is a plus, and residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
