Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and ensure sanitary handling according to infection control policies.

The role requires a positive attitude, good communication with staff and residents, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry experience is welcome but not required, and residency within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
