The Waters of Clifty Falls is seeking a Laundry Aide to ensure resident laundry is collected, laundered, sorted, and stored according to facility policy. This role supports a clean, sanitary environment in collaboration with the housekeeping team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and the ability to follow directions, with the capacity to work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or sufficient education to perform job functions.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilités

• Carries out and follows all facility policies and procedures.
• Acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary team under the direction of the Housekeeping Director.
• Handles all laundry in accordance with sanitary guidelines.
• Sorts all soiled laundry into appropriate categories. Lifts and carries loads of laundry to and from cleaning equipment.
• Washes, dries, folds and hangs all laundry neatly and properly.
• Identifies personal laundry with resident’s name and re-marks personal clothing items, if needed.
• Returns clean resident laundry to appropriate rooms and supply areas.
• Completes all daily assignments to the satisfaction of the supervisor.
• Keeps work area clean and neat and performs cleaning assignments as scheduled or directed.
• Works in cooperation with all other employees to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program when performing work functions.
• Other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Director.
