The role emphasizes following instructions, working independently, and maintaining inventory and laundry equipment. A criminal background check is required, and benefits are offered to all eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning agents or disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers and carts of soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Sort and load linens for washing and drying.
• Fold, dry and distribute clean linen.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute customer clothing.
• Maintain and clean the laundry area and equipment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified.
• Prioritize customer service with compassionate care.
