Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide to support daily linen operations for residents, visitors, and coworkers in a friendly, compassionate environment. Experience is not required, but preferred for handling laundry equipment and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

The role involves operating commercial washers and dryers, sorting and loading laundry, keeping accurate linen records, and delivering clean linens.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas; keeps them neat, orderly, and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first, ensuring high-quality, compassionate service.
