Job summary

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions for cleaning chemicals and disinfection procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in laundry areas and workspaces.
• Lift and move objects up to 25 pounds to heights and distances described in instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure laundry work schedules are followed and areas are clean and safe.
• Coordinate daily laundry tasks with nursing services as needed.
• Follow fire safety policies and wear safety equipment when handling loads and chemicals.
• Keep supervisor informed of supply needs and maintain equipment storage after shifts.
• Distribute clean laundry to designated areas during emergencies and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
