Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Laundry Worker for Phoebe Berks Health Center in Wernersville, PA. The role operates laundry equipment for finishing flatwork and tumble-dried goods, folds and delivers clean linen to the operations.

You will maintain clean work areas, support a team, and follow safety procedures. Prior high-volume laundry experience is preferred. This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high production laundry is preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts from exit.
• Operates flatwork ironer, small piece folders and folds linen to standards.
• Responsible for quality control and meeting customer expectations.
• Label and tag linen distribution carts and ensure proper transport.
• Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness.
• Assist truck driver to load linen and materials.
• Inform lead or supervisor on par level or quantity of supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
