Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Laundry Worker to operate laundry equipment, fold and deliver linen, and maintain clean work areas. You will use cart washers, flatwork ironers, and folding machines to meet customer standards.

Teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are essential as duties include sorting linens, loading trucks, and communicating with supervisors to manage supply levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high production laundry preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts.
• Operates flatwork ironer and small piece folders; folds linen to standards.
• Responsible for quality control and meeting customer standards.
• Label and tag linen carts, cover all carts before transport.
• Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist truck driver to load linens onto the truck.
• Inform lead or supervisor on par level or supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the work area.
