Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a dependable Linen Distribution Technician to join our healthcare operations team. This role delivers clean linen, collects soiled linen, maintains inventories, and provides exceptional service to hospital staff and departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare, laundry, manufacturing, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn facility systems.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital departments and service areas.
• Collect soiled linen from assigned locations and transport it safely to designated processing areas.
• Maintain accurate linen inventories and monitor par levels throughout the facility.
• Verify quantities of linen delivered and collected.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions, concerns, and service requests.
• Communicate linen shortages, quality concerns, and operational issues to supervisors.
• Build positive working relationships with hospital staff and customers through exceptional service.
• Maintain quality standards and meet established service expectations.
• Ensure work areas, storage rooms, and linen carts remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention requirements.
• Operate equipment and perform departmental support tasks as needed.
• Complete basic documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry tasks.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and Joint Commission standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Linen Distribution Technician to join our healthcare operations team. • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to push and pull linen carts weighing up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to sort, stack, and organize linen throughout the workday.
• Ability to meet all physical demands of the position consistently and safely.
