Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a Linen Distribution Technician to support the Exchange Cart Program at Baptist Health Lexington. You will maintain linen inventory, exchange and transport carts, ensuring caregivers have access to clean linen for patient care and hospital operations.

Responsibilities include scheduled deliveries, replenishing carts, inventory control, and prompt response to department requests, while adhering to infection prevention and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Exchange Cart Management: deliver and replace carts, stock to par levels, verify contents.
• Linen Distribution Operations: deliver to departments, collect soiled linen, follow infection prevention guidelines.
• Inventory & Quality Control: monitor usage, report shortages, inspect carts and storage areas.
• Safety & Compliance: follow policies, OSHA and infection prevention standards, maintain safe work environment.
• Customer Service: provide professional service to hospital staff and departments.
