Job summary

Novo Health Services is seeking an Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician to support linen distribution by delivering clean linen and collecting soiled linen across client facilities. The role emphasizes timely, accurate handling, safety, and high service standards while serving as the primary client contact.

The position runs 1st shift, 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, full-time, with a starting wage of $18.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or a similar industry preferred.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach for prolonged periods.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Transport clean linen to designated areas using covered carts.
• Collect soiled linen and return it in covered carts to the appropriate area.
• Verify and document linen quantities before delivery.
• Perform linen inventory counts as required.
• Address and resolve client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Communicate potential client issues or service needs to the supervisor.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive service.
• Uphold quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow institutional procedures, safety protocols, and Joint Commission standards.
• Operate equipment and perform tasks needed for department operations.
• Perform basic clerical duties such as typing, phones, and documentation.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
