Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services, Inc. in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a Linen Technician to support daily operations with a strong emphasis on safety, timeliness, and efficiency across the hospital linen workflow.

Reporting to the Linen Distribution Manager, the role includes delivering clean linen, transporting soiled linen, recording inventories, maintaining a neat storage area, handling calls for service, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring all tasks are performed per Crown policies

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen in a neat and orderly fashion; collect and transport soiled linen; record inventories and quantities; organize and clean linen storage areas per Crown policies and LDM instructions.
• Receive customer calls for service, record the nature of the request, and respond professionally per Crown policies and LDM instructions.
• Observe, record, and report any instances of linen abuse and poor utilization to the LDM.
• Manage linen inventory levels.
• Inventory exchange carts and rebuild to prescribed par levels; transport carts to designated areas safely.
• Inventory top-off carts and rebuild to prescribed par levels.
• Record data using tablets or order sheets.
• Collect soiled linen and transport to the soiled linen storage room.
• Maintain the linen room in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Any other duties as assigned; work with both clean and soiled linen per Crown policies.
