POSITION SUMMARY
The Linen Distribution Attendant is responsible for distributing, transporting, and sorting linen for all applicable departments in the main hospital. This includes accurately building, sorting, and organizing exchange carts and delivering the linen carts to each unit daily. Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with patients, visitors and other staff is highly preferred.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The ability to speak, and understand English is necessary in order to be able to follow instruction, and respond to patient/staff requests.
The ability to read and understand department names and locations.
None required.
Required Registration/License/Certification
Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Education
HSD/GED is not required, but preferred.
Preferred Experience
Previous linen distribution experience, particularly in a health care setting preferred, but not required.
