Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with guests in English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
• Receive soiled linens from floors via bag, cart or chute.
• Sort articles by kind, color and soil level.
• Inspect laundry for damage or stains and record findings.
• Operate washers and dryers on correct cycles for linen types.
• Pre-spot and pretreat stained linen before re-washing.
• Load linen into washers and unload into dryers.
• Maintain a clean, organized laundry area and follow safety procedures.
• Complete maintenance forms and report malfunctions to management.
• Respond to guest requests for housekeeping supplies promptly.
