Job summary

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0–1 year of laundry/housekeeping experience. Ability to follow written and oral instructions is essential. Onsite work location at 45 Francis Street with 20 scheduled hours per week.

Job Summary

Responsible to handle, inspect and process new and clean linen stocks and assembles linen packs and issues linen. Also cleans the work area and performs any related tasks as assigned or instructed

Essential Functions

• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat, orderly and safe manner. Stacks linens by folding items.
• Maximizes laundry production by monitoring workload requirements, equipment capacity, and operator availability.
• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Checks stock and notifies Supervisor of supply needs
