Position Summary

We are hiring a Journeyman Lineman for our Payson Construction Crew. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Completion of a Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent training (approved by APS T&D Technical & Safety Training) plus one year of experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Valid manual transmission Commercial Driver’s License (Class “A”) meeting DOT requirements.
• Experience working on distribution lines from 4kV to 21kV and related equipment.
• Residency within one hour of headquarters.
• Ability to pass written and hands-on climbing skills exams.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on call.
• Ability to work with aerial equipment weighing up to 300 pounds.
