Job summary

Star Construction LLC is hiring a Lineman II Telecom to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe, reliable service. You’ll work with bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other heavy equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of Lineman experience, a valid CDL or willingness to obtain one, and a clean driving record. This on-site role includes competitive pay, PTO, 401(k) and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience is required.
• Mature, safety-conscious approach with basic mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to travel for storm response on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned
