What you’ll do as a Lineman I Telecom

• Assist with installing fiber and telecom cables overhead and repair issues promptly to ensure reliable service
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas to facilitate smooth traffic flow
• Work safely at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Be prepared to travel for storm response on short notice
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (non-provisional) and a good driving record
• Previous construction experience preferred, especially in telecommunications

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights, in confined spaces and remote locations, climb stairs, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicles and heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
