Qualifications

• Must have at least three years' experience as Second-Class Lineman or equivalent.
• Able to perform routine operations of moderate complexity based on detailed instructions.
• Good working knowledge of line practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform the most complex construction and maintenance work on energized conductors, structures and equipment.
• Make transformer installations, phasing and rotation on polyphase circuits; perform switching and sectionalizing when required.
• Install instrument transformers and meters; connect/disconnect services as needed.
• Operate transportation equipment and supervise Linemen or Groundmen as directed.
