Qualifications

• Experience as a Lineman with knowledge of equipment for aerial work.
• Familiarity with bucket trucks and climbing poles.
• Basic experience placing telecom cables (copper and fiber).
• Possess a valid Class A CDL or be able to obtain one with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lineman in completing duties.
• Help place aerial/buried telecom cable (copper and fiber).
• Assist in connecting wires to terminals and hardware on wires, cables, buildings, or poles.
• Perform aerial tasks such as new cable installs and pole transfers.
• Do construction work like digging holes and laying cable.
• Climb utility poles and operate an aerial lift truck as required.
