What you'll do...

• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
• Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
• Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers
• Flag traffic when required
• Understand separation and clearance regulations
• Work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders safely
• Maintain safe working habits according to all regulations, procedures, and policies

Who we are looking for...

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are authorized to work in the United States
• You can pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card
• You have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• You have previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
• You are knowledgeable about aerial cable installation procedures
• You can climb telephone poles and work in bucket trucks and aloft, up to 40 feet
• You can perform duties such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new builds, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction
• You can lift/carry 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs as needed
• You are willing to work overtime, after hours, weekends, for emergencies, or on-call
• You can maintain a safe work environment and work in all weather conditions
• You are willing to travel when required
• You may have experience splicing active & passive equipment
