Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking dedicated Linehaul Drivers to move freight between terminals as full-time AAA Cooper employees.

You will enjoy comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k with company match, life insurance and more. Requirements include a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, DOT drug screen and physical, background check, and at least one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• At least 1 year driving experience.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Flexible hours.
• Be able to be certified as a forklift operator.
• Familiar with procedures for handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to ensure load compliance with regulations.
• Maintain records for state and federal regulation compliance.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive truck to required destination per federal regulations.
• Ensure shipping documentation is ready for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
