AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a full-time Linehaul Driver in Houston, TX. The driver will move freight between terminals and ensure safe, legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.

Responsibilities include checking shipping papers, maintaining compliance records, and building professional relations with the public. Requires Class A CDL with HazMat endorsements and at least one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements required.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Minimum one year driving experience required.
• Able to pass ACT road test.
• May need forklift certification.
• Familiar with handling hazardous materials procedures.
• Compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to ensure load complies with regulations.
• Maintain records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive truck to destination per federal regulations.
• Ensure required shipping docs are available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers, operate landing gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
